Brian Haydon is a poet, playwright, musician and radio presenter.
In the first phase of his life he was a sportsman, setting Queensland age records in swimming, playing Australian Football for Queensland Schoolboys, and representing New South Wales in rugby (U21) and athletics (U17 sprints and high jump).
In the second phase he gained an honours degree in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D. in Queueing Theory.
In the third phase he worked for a living, becoming a senior manager of Information Technology in International Airlines Qantas, Cathay Pacific and British Airways.
After 23 years living abroad, in Hong Kong and London, he returned to his roots in Australia for the fourth phase, dabbling in the performing arts, literature and volunteer work.
His writing has been described as witty, imaginative and eclectic, and many nasty words as well.
